4th LASER OPTICS for YOUNG SCIENTISTS

ORGANIZER:

St.Petersburg State University

St.Petersburg State University of ITMO

Objective and Scope

The Fourth Conference on Laser Optics for Young Scientists (LOYS 08) will be organized within the frame of LOYS 08. LOYS 08 continues a series of meetings for young scientists organized in cooperation with internationally recognized conference Laser Optics.
LOYS 08 provides a forum for young talented physicists (up to 35 years old) just entering the world of science or already actively working there. The topics of LOYS 08 will coincide with those of LOYS 08.

Format

The LOYS traditional format will include invited and key-note lectures delivered by internationally recognized scientists who will review the conference topics and describe latest results and achievements.
Young scientists are invited to present their works in the sessions of oral and poster presentations. These sessions will be supervised and chaired by internationally recognized scientists. A special selection committee formed of the Program Committee members will pick up best poster presentations delivered at the conference and award them with special diplomas. LOYS 08 participants will have a privilege to attend all the events of LO conference.
