Symposium on Laser Medical Applications

Moscow, July 5 - July 6, 2010

The Symposium will be held within the framework of the 14th International Conference "Laser Optics 2010" (St. Petersburg June 28 - July 02, 2010). It will be devoted to the latest advances in designing new laser systems for medicine, understanding the mechanisms of laser-tissue interaction and laser treatment effects, novel laser-based diagnostic and biosensing techniques, as well as newc linical applications of lasers. The conference is organized by the A.M. Prokhorov General Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences and the Center of Laser Technology and Material Science. The General Physics Institute was founded by the Nobel Prize winner Prof. Alexander M. Prokhorov who is worldwide known for the invention of lasers and as one of the initiators of laser applications in medicine.

The Symposium will take place in Moscow right after the "Laser Optics 2010" Conference in St. Petersburg.
