All reports and presentations (abstracts, illustrations, posters, transparencies, slides) must be prepared in English.

Abstracts will be published to the beginning of Conference. The materials of the Conference will be published in leading Russian journals, by SPIE etc.

5th Laser Optics for Young Scientists (LOYS 2010 )

Objective and Scope
 
      The Fifth Conference on Laser Optics for Young Scientists (LOYS’2010) will be organized within the frame of LO′2010. LOYS′2010 continues a series of meetings for young scientists organized in cooperation with internationally recognized conference Laser Optics. 
      LOYS′2010 provides a forum for young talented physicists (up to 35 years old) just entering the world of science or already actively working there. The topics of LOYS′2010 will coincide with those of LO′2010.
 
Format
 
      The LOYS traditional format will include invited and key-note lectures delivered by internationally recognized scientists who will review the conference topics and describe latest results and achievements. 
      Young scientists are invited to present their works in the sessions of oral and poster presentations. These sessions will be supervised and chaired by internationally recognized scientists. A special selection commit¬tee formed of the Program Committee members will pick up best poster presentations delivered at the con¬ference and award them with special diplomas. LOYS′2010 participants will have a privilege to attend all the events of LO conference.

      The Conference continues well-known traditional symposia including LAMN (Laser-Assisted Micro- and Nanotechnologies) and LMI (Laser-Matter Interaction) conferences used to be organized in former Leningrad, USSR since the middle of the sixties of the past century.
